Qualifications & Skills:
Restaurant experience desirable, but not required. Excellent communication skills. To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Summary of Position:
Server Assistant responsibilities include serving plates, glasses and silverware, refilling beverages and cleaning tables. If you enjoy a fast-paced way of working and are highly motivated this job will be right for you.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dining and patio areas before guests are seated, including cleaning designated areas daily.
  • Place tableware, candles and condiments on tables prior to opening.
  • Serve water and sometimes welcome snacks (i.e. chips and salsa)
  • Refill beverages and prebus tables throughout the shift.
  • Clean and reset tables after guests leave
  • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
Physical Demands: 
  • Lifting and carrying of items not to exceed 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to work in a wet environment. 
  • Extensive and prolonged walking, standing, bending, and reaching are required. 
  • Grasping and fine manipulation using hands required. 
  • Ability to work up to 8-10 hours per day.
Other requirements:  
  • Must have a current food handler’s card, RBS card (if over 18 years of age),
  • California workplace harassment training, and/or any additional training required by law.
Compensation: $16.90 per hour
